Heading North???
A great route to endeavor on your way to Eagle River is the well-known 107 Route through Tomahawk. This road is absolutely breathtaking. Starting in Merrill, head towards Tomahawk on Hwy 107. This route follows the Wisconsin River as it winds and look for the eagle nests along the way! Do be careful as you ride, being sure to watch out for wildlife all around you. Much of this road is 25 mph, which makes it the perfect route to take on that warm sunny day you have been waiting for. Find more information here for this route and the roadside amenities!
You have Arrived!
And when you get to Eagle River, these are some of the best roads you will want to take in the Northwoods! On the North side of Eagle River you can venture down Chain of Lakes or Cty G. Both have great options that will lead you around the lakes or out towards national parks! Hwy 17 into Creek State Natural Area is also a great road that bends slowly and gives your eyes a lot to take in!

The Boulder Junction Beauty is a great route to take North and West of Eagle River. With plenty of winding roads and tree canopies, this is the perfect route for your 45 mph relaxing drive. If you would like to go a little further North into the UP, going through Presque Isle is a great way to expand your adventures going North on Cty Road B. Eagle River is the perfect hub to come back to after your days of riding! With many options for dining and many more attractions, you can go anywhere from here and still have your soft place to land at the end of your day!
