When you first think of the Northwoods, waterfalls may not be the thing that first comes to mind for sightseeing. However, waterfalls are very common and you don’t have to travel far before you will stumble upon one.
There are waterfalls close to Eagle River that will match your specific needs. If you are looking for a scenic place for a picnic or for one that is
easily accessible and well maintained. One of our absolute favorites is Bond Falls, about 45 minutes North of Eagle River in Bruce Crossing, MI. With a great trail around the falls, you can start a leisurely hike from the top or the bottom. You can visit the falls year round and it’s breathtaking in every season! It’s a great daytrip!
