Spring is in the Air!
Spring is certainly in the Northwood’s air! Between the rain showers and snow showers, it can be frustrating trying to get outside and enjoy the warmer weather. But there are plenty of opportunities to find the beauty of this season in the Northwoods.
One of our favorite festivals is just a few days away! April 1st is Phelp’s Maple Syrup Festival. This is a 
festival unmistakably marked by the sweet aroma of maple syrup! The treats are delicious, there are activities for the whole family to enjoy, and there is always something new to learn in the classes they offer! It isn’t too late to sign up for a class or make a quick trip to the Northwoods this weekend! our itching to get back out there on the trails, the ATV trails open May 1st in Eagle River and the surrounding area!

There are now about 70 miles of paved and dirt routes that run through areas like Eagle River, Conover, Land O’Lakes, Phelps, Forest County, St. Germain, Oneida County, and the U.P. of Michigan. Its time to see the trails you love in the winter in the beauty of a new season when the woods are budding with new life.
Looking for an opportunity to keep up on that New Years resolution of health and happiness this year! It’s time for the Journeys Marathon so get those running shoes back on! Held Saturday, May 13th, this marathon is a Northwoods classic. More information can be found on the Eagle River’s website here http://eagleriver.org/featured/journeys-marathon/ . Make your reservation today and don’t forget, the Hiawatha is only a half mile from the Pick-up location at Northland Pines.
