Just A Hop, Skip & Jump from Eagle River

A Little North…

Bon Falls: A favorite spot of many who visit the Northwoods in any season! It has beautiful trails that follow the falls and is close to many other falls not far away to make a full day of waterfall hunting!

ATV Trails: You can really go any directions with these trails in the Northwoods. But the farther North you go, the more waterfalls you will find along your trails.

A Little South & East…

River Tours in Rhinelander: What a beautiful way to see Wisconsin with a river cruise. With a meal provided, it’s a great way to end a day watching the sun set over the Wisconsin River.

Planetarium: The best way to gaze up at the stars with no bugs to bother you! Not only is this two ton rotating globe a one of a kind, you would never guess that it was hand painted with finite detail to depict the Northern sky of the Northwoods. Shopping in Minocqua: Only a 30 minute drive from Eagle River, the shops of Minocqua are a great time for any age. From the fun toy shops to cute little coffee shops, you will have to schedule a day in Minocqua in your vacation week itinerary.

St. Germain Flea Market: One of Wisconsin’s and the midwest’s largest flea markets! You will find delicious food, unique antiques and specialty vendors you will go back to every year! Open rain or shine, 8am to 3pm!

Wildwood Wildlife Zoo & Nature Center: Ever seen a giraffe in the Northwoods?! Well now you can at the Wildwood Wildlife Zoo along with many other animals! They offer an up-close experience where you can feed the deer!
